Greece for foodies

Greece’s food and wine scene has moved on in leaps and bounds in recent years. Why not spend a few days in Athens sampling the many wonderful restaurants and wine bars then head south into the Peloponnese or take a short flight over to the Cyclades. April to June, September and October are the perfect times to visit when the crowds have gone.

For wine lovers , Greece is now producing wines to rival any of its European neighbours. Perfect accompaniments to both the traditional and contemporary styles of Greek cooking.

We are very proud to be working with some wonderful hotels and private villas in Greece, many of whom are leading the way with their sustainable practices. None more so than the wonderful Kinsterna hotel and Spa in the Southern Peloponnese. A stunning Byzantine estate close to the fortress town of Monemvasia producing their own olives, extra virgin olive oil, their own wines and growing their own fruit and vegetables for using their three restaurants. With a wine list serving only Greek wines, you know you have found somewhere really special.
