Sri Lanka has undoubtedly had a rough ride in recent times, however, it is now very much open for business and going from strength to strength.
We are delighted to be working with some wonderful boutique hotels and private villas in this stunning country. Very much a year round destination , Sri Lanka’s natural world is both fascinating and enriching with the local people very much at the forefront. A treasure trove of fragrant spice gardens, rolling tea plantations, ancient archaeological sites, tropical jungle and some truly beautiful beaches.
All of our holidays are tailor-made , for example you could explore the Cultural Triangle or UNESCO-listed landmarks such as Sigirya or perhaps a stay in one of the wonderful National Parks such as Yala or lesser well-known Wilpattu, where you can spot the elusive leopard alongside exotic birds. If you are travelling between July and September, you could witness the largest wild Asian elephant gathering in the world at Minneriya National Park.
Your Sri Lankan adventure will also likely include a stay in Galle, a UNESCO protected fort town on the coast, where you can visit colonial-era churches, discover Buddhist temples and browse boutique shops for art and handmade jewellery all in one day.
Sri Lanka is also a fantastic destination for active people. Hike up the 2,000-metre summit of Adam’s Peak , go ziplining in Ella or surfing on the south coast.
Corinium foodies will be in heaven in Sri Lanka with an endless supply of delicious and inspiring dishes to try. A traditional Sri Lankan curry is course is must but everywhere there are plenty of other local delicacies on offer perhaps at a roadside cafe, or a swish oceanfront restaurant.
We look forward to arranging an adventure to Sri Lanka for you soon !
